BENS member and Medal of Honor recipient Florent “Flo” Groberg, USA (Ret.), shares his reflections on the 11th Anniversary of his “Alive Day” – the day he survived a suicide bomber attack on his way to Asadabad, Kunar, Afghanistan, injuring him and taking the lives of Air Force Maj. Walter D. Gray, Army Maj. Thomas E. Kennedy, Army Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin J. Griffin, and State Department worker Ragaei Abdelfattah.
