EU Lawmakers Lay Groundwork for ‘Historic’ AI Regulation

The European Parliament on Wednesday voted in favor of regulating the use of  artificial intelligence (AI) systems across the bloc.

The vote kick-starts the process toward passing the EU’s Artificial Intelligence Act, the first of its kind globally.
