Moore Event Chicago

BENS Chicago hosted a roundtable discussion with Lt. Gen. Richard G. Moore, Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs, U.S. Air Force, on October 17th. Lt. Gen. Moore discussed the USAF’s response to global power competition. Our thanks to Magellan Corporation for hosting this event, attended by special guests, including the U.S. Secret Service, The University of Chicago Veterans Initiatives, and the Chicago-based U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion.

From November 5th to 7th, a BENS delegation visited Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Tucson, AZ. The delegation toured the southwestern border near the Nogales port of entry and had the opportunity to meet with the Shadow Wolves, a Native American DHS tactical patrol unit located on the Tohono O’odham Nation.

BENS recently welcomed General David H. Petraeus, USA (Ret.), to Dallas for a discussion centered around his new book, “Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Ukraine.” Nearly 80 members and their guests had the privilege of hearing General Petraeus share his insights, where he discussed the historical context and offered his perspectives on various conflicts, including his thoughts on Israel and events related to October 7th. 

On Wednesday, December 6th, General Tim Ray, USAF (Ret), hosted General James E. Rainey (USA), Commanding General, US Army Futures Command (AFC) for a working dinner focused on the subject of contested logistics.
