Event Recap – February 12, 2024

BENS SE hosted its second annual Winter Dinner, with Salvatore Ferragamo Jr. who is the CEO of Il Borro, a Tuscan winery, hotel, and restaurant group. He is also the grandson of Salvatore Ferragamo, the founder of the luxury fashion company. This event served as a platform to reinforce the values and mission of BENS, bringing together approximately 50 attendees from the Southeast region. We also took the opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Greg Wright, CEO, Bison Advisors.

BENS CEO General Tim Ray had a lunch discussion with Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment Dr. William LaPlante on how to tackle various modernization issues where BENS could help in those areas. They also talked about infrastructure and concerns in the maintenance and production capacity realm such as shipbuilding and other areas.
