For the sixth time since 2008, a group of BENS members visited Lockheed Martin Aero in Fort Worth to tour the F-35 production line and receive briefings on the F-35 aircraft and program. The group saw all three variants on the production line and aircraft destined for multiple nations. When the group was there, Lockheed Martin had already delivered 992 aircraft so the group saw 1,000th airplane on the production line.

Earlier this month, Dr. Dana LaFon lead a discussion with BENS NY members on operational psychology. From election security to the declassified Operation Glowing Symphony to the value of asking the RIGHT question, the group dug into how this unique psychological perspective can be an untapped facet of analysis to any challenging risk management decision. Dr. LaFon is currently the National Intelligence Fellow with the Council on Foreign Relations and recently served as chief and founder of the National Security Agency’s Office of Operational Psychology and Cyberpsychology.
