We are honored to have General Philip Breedlove, USAF (Ret.) speak to us on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at The Buckhead Club (3344 Peachtree Rd NE, Unit 2600, Atlanta, GA 30326). You won’t want to miss this amazing opportunity to hear from the former Commander of Supreme Allied Command, Europe, SHAPE, Belgium and Headquarters, US European Command. GEN Breedlove will provide his thoughts and insights on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the following war, impressions after a year of fighting, and thoughts on what a conclusion to this conflict might be. General “Phil” Breedlove joins the Sam Nunn School after retiring as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe and the US European Command Commander. In these capacities he commanded all US and Allied troops in Afghanistan, Kosovo as well as all NATO operations across Europe and the Mediterranean. As a Distinguished Professor, a title he shares with Sam Nunn, he works with faculty, staff and students on security issues and policy, further he facilitates a number of projects, classes and presentations to advance these same thoughts. General Breedlove brings a wealth of both deep and recent experience in our world’s toughest security and policy issues as well as leadership in situations spanning both peace and conflict.
