Dinner w/James Baker

The Office of Net Assessment drives one of the principal frameworks for analyzing the national security strategy of the United States. Reporting directly to the Secretary of Defense, Mr. Baker and his staff are charged with identifying emerging or future threats and opportunities for our nation. From the Cold War to the post – 9/11 era, the office has developed and coordinated net assessments of the standing trends and future prospects of US military capabilities and potential, in comparison with the military capabilities and potential of other countries.
