Discussion on Operational Psychology

Please join BENS NY for a luncheon conversation on operational psychology with Dr. Dana S. LaFon on Wednesday, June 5th. Dr. LaFon recently served as chief and founder of the National Security Agency’s Office of Operational Psychology and Cyberpsychology, which is responsible for scaling behavioral-based insights for whole-of-government operations.

With deep expertise in indirect psychological assessment, influence psychology, and information operations, Dr. LaFon will describe how this unique psychological perspective can provide an untapped facet of analysis to any challenging risk management decision.

Currently the National Intelligence Fellow with the Council on Foreign Relations, Dr. LaFon’s twenty-five years of experience in multiple fields (including intelligence, psychology, graduate instruction, and systems analysis), settings (including the U.S. government, academia, state and local agencies, and private industry), and foreign partnerships have enabled her to apply a broad perspective to national security issues and foreign policy topics.
