Financing Critical Technology That Drives National & Economic Security (NYC) – MEMBERS ONLY

November 12, 2024 @ 6:30 pm 8:30 pm EST

A dinner and discussion on the Department of Defense Office of Strategic Capital (OSC)’s credit program, which provides debt financing to eligible borrowers in critical technology areas driving national and economic security. Dr. Jason Rathje, OSC Director, and Mr. J.R. Gibbens, OSC Chief Investment Officer, will provide the latest on this program. This event is only open to BENS NY members.

OSC was established in December 2022 as a component of the Department of Defense’s Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. The office aims to use the United States’ comparative advantages in capital markets and economic competition to crowd in capital for critical technology supply chains. OSC seeks to accelerate development in critical technologies such as biotechnology, quantum science, advanced materials, hypersonics, directed energy and artificial intelligence.
