We are honored and excited to have Major General John King, USANG speak to our group on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Buckhead Club (3344 Peachtree Rd NE, Suite 2600, Atlanta, GA 30326). Some of the topics MG King will discuss are an explanation and highlight of the office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner and the improvements that have been made and an overview of MG King’s work during the pandemic.
MG King was sworn in as Georgia’s Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner on July1, 2019, becoming the first Hispanic statewide official in state history. MG King also serves in the US Army National Guard assigned to NORAD and US Northern Command. Previously, he has served as the Chief of Police, Detective and Deputy Chief for Doraville GA. He also served as an officer with the Atlanta Police Department and has had assignments with both FBI and DEA as a Task Force Agent. You can see MG King’s full biography HERE.
