Please join BENS members and guests for a luncheon discussion on the Texas Space Commission with Texas State Representative Greg Bonnen, MD, (TX-24), Texas Space Commission Executive Director Norman Garza, and Texas Space Board Director and BENS Member Brad Morrison. Dr. Bonnen will lead a discussion on the Space Commission’s first two years and its objectives going forward.

Commission Background:
The Texas Space Commission was established in 2023 by the 88th Texas Legislature to promote innovation in the field of space operations and commercial aerospace opportunities, including the integration of space, aeronautics, and aviation industries into the Texas economy.  The Texas Space Commission was created to cement Texas’ position as a national leader in the space industry and will secure its future in space exploration and development for the next generation of Texans.
