Please join a luncheon discussion on U.S. Middle East policy under the second Trump administration with Gregg Roman, Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Middle East Forum.
As the administration looks at U.S. influence and strategic interests in the Middle East, Mr. Roman will analyze the administration’s early moves and their implications for the region’s geopolitical landscape. He will also provide an in-depth look at the strategies and geopolitics shaping American foreign policy including Iranian aggression, Syria’s future in the wake of the Aleppo offensive, status of stability in Iraq, and the recalibration of U.S. military engagement to achieve strategic objectives with minimal risks.
Finally, Mr. Roman will also discuss how U.S. policies can counterbalance growing Russian and Chinese influence in the Middle East to ensure America and its allies remain safe and secure.
Speaker Background: Gregg Roman functions as the chief operations officer for the Forum, responsible for day-to-day management, communications, and financial resource development. Mr. Roman previously served as director of the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. In 2014, he was named one of the ten most inspiring global Jewish leaders by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. He previously served as the political advisor to the deputy foreign minister of Israel and worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
Mr. Roman is a frequent speaker at venues around the world, often appears on television, and has written for The Hill, The Forward, Albany Times-Union, and other publications.
