BENS NY Metro has been offered a special opportunity by Customs and Border Protection and the New York Police Department. On April 24th and 25th, a small group of members is invited to visit both law enforcement agencies’ intelligence units. We will spend Monday, April 24th with the CBP NY Field Office meeting with their leadership and visiting the Northeast Regional Intelligence Center. Then we will spend Tuesday, April 25th with the NYPD Intelligence Bureau, again meeting with leadership and receiving a demonstration of the capabilities of the Lower Manhattan Security Initiative.

Discussion with Hiring Our Heroes

Since 2011, Hiring Our Heroes | U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has worked to create meaningful employment opportunities for transitional service members, veterans, and military spouses. Developing the National Security Workforce continues to be a key priority of BENS work. By providing expertise on human capital strategy, recruitment, and retention we assist the national security community in securing the best talent America has to offer.   This is a key opportunity to discuss how we can collaboratively support these workforce challenges.
