BENS NY Metro has been offered a special opportunity by Customs and Border Protection and the New York Police Department. On April 24th and 25th, a small group of members is invited to visit both law enforcement agencies’ intelligence units. We will spend Monday, April 24th with the CBP NY Field Office meeting with their leadership and visiting the Northeast Regional Intelligence Center. Then we will spend Tuesday, April 25th with the NYPD Intelligence Bureau, again meeting with leadership and receiving a demonstration of the capabilities of the Lower Manhattan Security Initiative.
Registrations will be handled on a first-come basis, and if necessary, a wait list will be established. Please contact Sarah Higgins for information.
