SOFWERX serves as an innovation platform for the United States Special Operations Command as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by bringing the best of Government, Industry, Academia, and National Labs together to help solve challenging problems encountered by Special Operations Forces. SOFWERX was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement, established in September of 2015, between DEFENSEWERX and the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Located in Tampa, FL, SOFWERX has a dynamic environment designed to create a high rate of return on collision for all participants. Through the use of our growing ecosystem, promotion of divergent thought, and neutral facilitation, our goal is to bring the right minds together to solve challenging problems.
ICWERX is a non-profit organization established under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between DEFENSEWERX, a 501(c)(3), and CIA Labs. As the CIA Labs’ innovation hub, ICWERX will address Intelligence Community needs and provide a platform for cooperative teaming and innovation. In collaboration with CIA Labs, ICWERX will work with Academia, Industry, and National Labs to discover, engage, and accelerate novel solutions in support of the Intelligence Community.
