SE Visit to Joint Special Operations University

We will visit JSOU on Tuesday, July 11th from 12:00 pm – 4:45 pm (7708 Tampa Point Blvd, Tampa, FL 33621). The purpose of this visit is to continue to build the relationship with JSOU which we started in 2022. You do not want to miss this opportunity to visit and learn more about the designated agency within US Special Operations Command to conduct joint Special Operations Force education and is tasked with and directed to provide relevant, realistic, leading-edge education opportunities to military and civilian special operations forces personnel around the world. Capable of full-spectrum joint SOF focused instruction, JSOU provides cohesive education support to SOF personnel, and other non-SOF decision makers at intermediate and senior levels. The university conducts off-station tutorials and courses as well as video teleconferencing instruction to supported units worldwide.

This visit will include discussions with JSOU senior leaders as well as professors with an open discussion on several of the topics they currently teach. Some of the topics will include Emergent Tech for Information Advantage, Economic Statecraft, What Winning Looks Like, SOF-Space-Cyber Triad as well as Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing in the Eastern/ Southeastern Pacific Region as well as other topics in which business may be able to help influence what is taught to the US and International SOF Education programs at JSOU.

We will also hold a follow-on event at a local establishment sponsored by BENS member Chip Whitaker and his company, Barbaricum.
