Join an evening of conversation over dinner with Mark Newton, Minister Defence at the UK Embassy and the senior civilian from the British Defence Staff in the United States, to discuss the newly-released UK Defence Industrial Strategy.
As the United States revitalizes our own defense industrial base, the United Kingdom has just released its first defense industrial strategy seeking a similar revitalization to address modern threats and make the defense sector “an engine for growth.” As a close ally and defense partner, the UK’s investments have implications for the U.S. defense industry and the military capabilities the alliance can bring to bear to deter aggressors.
We hope you will be able to join us for this opportunity to discuss our mutual defense revitalization with one of our closest allies.
