Government Partner Request for Assistance

The Defense Ministry of Georgia will host its 3rd Annual Cyber Security Forum in Tbilisi, Georgia on October 17/18, 2022. The Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) — which is tasked with strengthening Georgia’s ability to defend itself and advance in its preparations for NATO membership – is working with the US Embassy there to recruit the participation of American companies in this event. Ambassador Kelly Degnan has reached out to BENS to invite our members with cyber expertise to take part as panelists.

Attended by representatives of NATO and numerous partner countries, this year’s conference will focus on “Critical Information Infrastructure Protection as a Vital Component of Cyber Security.” Discussions for which they are seeking panelists include: Cyber Dimensions of Modern Conflict; Public Private Partnership – Trust Based Cooperation; Cyber Command – Best Practices in Defence Domain; NATO-EU-GEO Cyber Partnership; and Crafting National Cyber Resilience.

If you or another colleague from your company might be interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Isabelle Simoneaux for more information and to be connected to the embassy team.
