About NextGen
Objective
The objective of the Next Generation Business Executives for National Security program (NextGen BENS) is twofold. Firstly, it aims to generate member cohorts and an alumni network of rising, mid-career US business executives who understand and support the BENS mission, both presently and into the future. Secondly, it seeks to build a pipeline for BENS Southeast and BENS National, while providing executive development opportunities for young members. This includes targeting 8-12 individuals for the first cohort of NextGen BENS SE. Candidates are assessed based on their potential for a CEO path, patriotic commitment, values-driven communication skills, and willingness to contribute. Both veterans and non-veterans are eligible, with a focus on evaluating their potential as future contributing BENS Members.
The NextGen BENS program offers a range of benefits designed to foster professional growth and networking opportunities. These opportunities will include quarterly education-driven forums, including events such as the Mentor & Mentee Networking Event, Education Driven Program, Executive Decision-Making Exercise, and Cohort Dinner, providing valuable insights and connections. Participants will also gain access to exclusive BENS events and networking opportunities with thought leaders from the US business community, enhancing their professional networks.
