Payment Information
See below for information pertaining to receipts, refunds, and charitable giving.
- Receipts:
- Payments submitted through our website pages are confirmed via automated e-mail.
- For all tax-deductible charitable donations over $250, a formal gift acknowledgment will be provided via email unless an alternate method is requested.
- Formal receipts are not provided for non-charitable donations (expense reimbursements, trip/event fees, etc) unless specifically requested.
- Contact AccountsReceivable@bens.org for questions or duplicate copies of a receipt.
- Refunds
- Event Registration Fees
- Refundable up to 3 business days before the event.
- After that time, they are non-refundable as BENS has already incurred the expense of registration.
- Contact your Regional Director, the event coordinator, or email BENS@bens.org to withdraw from an event and begin the refund process.
- Membership payments and other charitable donations are non-refundable.
- Deposit Payments for Trips
- Have variable refund deadlines contingent upon the specific trip.

- Eligible donations to BENS are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
