Payment Information

See below for information pertaining to receipts, refunds, and charitable giving.

  • Receipts:
    • Payments submitted through our website pages are confirmed via automated e-mail.
    • For all tax-deductible charitable donations over $250, a formal gift acknowledgment will be provided via email unless an alternate method is requested.
    • Formal receipts are not provided for non-charitable donations (expense reimbursements, trip/event fees, etc) unless specifically requested.
    • Contact AccountsReceivable@bens.org for questions or duplicate copies of a receipt.
  • Refunds
    • Event Registration Fees
      • Refundable up to 3 business days before the event.
      • After that time, they are non-refundable as BENS has already incurred the expense of registration.
      • Contact your Regional Director, the event coordinator, or email BENS@bens.org to withdraw from an event and begin the refund process.
    • Membership payments and other charitable donations are non-refundable.
    • Deposit Payments for Trips
      • Have variable refund deadlines contingent upon the specific trip.
      • Contact Engagement@bens.org for information on the refundability of these payments.
  • Charitable Giving
    • BENS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
    • Our Federal Tax ID number is: 52-1271179
    • Eligible donations to BENS are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
    • Please contact your tax advisor professional for specific questions about the portion of your contribution that may or may not be deductible.
