Donald R. Dixon

Don is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Forgepoint. He has been a technology investor for over 30 years and was one of the earliest investors in cybersecurity.

Prior to Forgepoint, Don led Trident Capital for over 20 years. Prior to Trident, Don was the Co-President at Partech International, a Managing Director at Alex. Brown & Sons, and a Vice President at Morgan Stanley.

Don is a member of the Advisory Board of the Princeton School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership. He is also a Director for the Business Executives for National Security (BENS), and a member of the Aspen Institute’s Cybersecurity Group, the nation’s leading cross-sector public-private cybersecurity forum that aims to translate pressing cybersecurity conversations into action. Previously, Don was a Board member of the Naval Postgraduate School.

Don served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
