Ethan Ingram
Initiatives Associate
Ethan currently serves as an Initiatives Associate at Business Executives for National Security (BENS), following two semesters as a Stanley A. Weiss Fellow with the organization. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Ethan earned his Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. He also holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in International Politics and History from Belmont University.
Before joining BENS, Ethan interned with the Executive Office of the President’s Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), where he supported the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program in coordinating federal, state, local, and Tribal law enforcement efforts to combat drug-related threats. His experience also includes internships in the academic and foreign policy sectors, including roles at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS), the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), and the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq.
Outside of work, Ethan immerses himself in history, particularly military history and the histories of Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. He enjoys visiting historic landmarks across the United States and hiking their surrounding trails. To stay active, he maintains a regular fitness routine.
