G.S. B. Gilbert

G.S. Beckwith (Beck) Gilbert, established and has been president and CEO of Field Point Capital Management Company, a private equity firm specializing in the acquisition and active turnaround management of under-performing businesses since 1988.
Mr. Gilbert is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Passur Aerospace, and has served as the Chairman of the Board since his election in 1997. Mr. Gilbert also serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee. Mr. Gilbert was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October of 1998 and served as such until his retirement from that post on February 1, 2003. He is the former chairman and CEO of QO Chemicals, the former chairman of the Executive Committee of Dianon Systems, Inc, and the former President and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace, Inc.
A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton in 1963, Mr. Gilbert received his M.B.A. in 1967, attending night classes at New York University. He is an honorary member of the Weill Cornell Medical College Class of 2004. In the spring of 2006, Mr. Gilbert received a Master of Science degree in Immunology (with a focus on cancer) from The Rockefeller University.
His current community activities include: Emeritus Chairman of the Board of Fellows of Harvard Medical School and a member of the Board of Directors of the Yale Cancer Center. In addition, he is a director of Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Gilbert was also the Founding Chairman of the American Lyme Disease Foundation, as well as the Chairman of the Lyme Disease Advisory Board at New York Medical College.
