As Vice President for Partner Engagement, Jennifer is responsible for enterprise-wide management and oversight of the organization’s interaction with military and government leaders across the national security enterprise.
Prior to assuming her new role, Jennifer served as the Washington, DC Regional Director for BENS for four years, building a strong network of existing members to recruit, retain, involve and grow the membership base in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland.
Jennifer brings to BENS nearly two decades of nonprofit and government experience in program development, fundraising, marketing, grant development, and volunteer management. Previously, she held positions in these disciplines at Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), The Institute of World Politics and the United Service Organizations (USO). Jennifer’s government service includes tours on both Capitol Hill and the Pentagon. Prior to entering the private sector, she worked as a Public Affairs and Legislative Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and as Special Assistant to the Chairman and Chief of Staff of the House Armed Services Committee. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and daughter.
