Phl, US explore investment opportunities for nat’l security

The Department of National Defense on Thursday said the country’s security sector has welcomed various investment opportunities from the United States.

This came, after DND Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and National Security Adviser Eduardo Año recently met with a delegation from the US Business Executives for National Security—led by BENS President and CEO Gen. Joseph Votel and accompanied by US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson—to explore investment opportunities in support of common national security objectives.
